Welcome Back!
We hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. To kick off this week we painted with colored ice pops. We froze water and food coloring in popsicle molds and popped them out for our kids to paint. This activity is an awesome sensory activity because the children have the opportunity to touch the cold smooth ice, they can see how it transitions from a solid to liquid state, and can see the colors mix on their paper (providing the perfect opportunity to introduce new vocabulary). This activity also helps work fine motor skills since the children have the option of holding the popsicle stick. Check out our artwork in our pod hallway.
