Today we said goodbye to our friend Claire Bruchmiller and her wonderful family. All the children took turns giving hugs and shared with Claire how much they were going to miss her. We wish the Bruchmiller family the best of luck as they embark on this season in their life. We love you Claire Bear!!!

Hello Everyone!!

We hope you are all cheering Go Team USA!!! In the classroom the children had a review lesson on the parts of the plant. We then did a simple craft activity that reinforced the concept of roots, stem, leaves, flower.

Today marks the opening day for the 2016 Olympics hosted in Rio Brazil. This morning the children participated in their very own Olympic opening day celebration. Catherine ran through the playground carrying the Olympic torch that symbolizes the start of the games. Then the other children followed behind waving their flags representing some of the countries that will be seen in this year’s Olympics.

Hello Everyone!!

This month we will be talking about trees, seeds and types of leaves. This morning during circle we talked about what is a leaf, where can we find them and what colors are they. Throughout the day the children worked on painting leaves and creating prints which was lots of fun.

It’s Music Monday!!

This morning the children went on a Tour Of Italy. They sang songs about washing and packing their clothes, got on a flight and flew across the ocean, and sang a fun song about tasty ravioli!!! Later, the children all had an opportunity to play a beautiful Accordion which is a part of the woodwind family.
