Hi!

“ We’re sleepy!!” was the cry, as all the children slowly filtered into the classroom this morning. But after a hearty breakfast and playing in the cool crisp morning air, they were ready to take on one of our Monday favorites, “Arts Alive”. Ms Wendy was chipper as always, and greeted everyone with a welcoming smile. Today it was “Wheee For Wheels” day, as the children stepped into the wonderful world of Arts Alive magic and became the wheels of a train, bicycle, snow plow, cement mixer and more. See you soon.

Hello!

How was your day? This morning the children enjoyed a leisurely walk through the court yard as we explored and talked about some of the things we often see in nature. During Montessori work time, the children observed different objects found in nature on our playground.

It’s Rodeo time again, and all the guy and gals were decked out in their best rodeo attire this morning. During playtime we had barrel racing events as the boys and girls took turns galloping around the cones set up on the playground. Once inside we discussed the idea of what is a cowboy/cowgirl and what is a rodeo. The children saw pics of some of the events that will be held at the rodeo an tried their hand at “ Bronco Riding” toddler two style. Have a great weekend.

Hi Everyone!

Today was a great day to step into the imaginative and creative world of Dr Seuss as we honored and celebrated his 113th birthday. The children listened to some of the classics such as “Green Eggs and Ham” and “The Cat In The Hat”. But their favorites are “ Go Dogs Go”, “Are You My Mother”, and “Put Me In The Zoo”. Today in Arts Alive we went to the rodeo. We rode horses and partner dance to the boot scoot boogie!
