We worked on numeration(1-10) with our new Hanukkah candle clip counting cards. The children counted the lit candles on a menorah and used a clothes pin to clip the correct answer.

Today was the last Soccer Shots class of the semester. The children showed off the skills they have learned and practiced during class. The children received a certificate of completion at the end of class.

We had a fun time in music class yesterday afternoon. We had visit from Handaclaus and had a great time singing Holiday songs as we played jingle bell shakers. Did you know that what it is called when someone makes music using only their voice? We reviewed that when someone sings acapella they are using no instruments to make music.

The children were excited to read some of our new library books and work with our new tree decorating lesson. The children enjoyed sharing how they have decorated trees at home and put out lights around their homes.

Today we said goodbye to the month of November and hello to the new month of December. The children are excited to read our new library books and all the fun activities that await us.

The children were busy bees during our work cycle. They painted green plates to make a wreath for our bulletin board and enjoyed working with lessons in the classroom. Bubble making, fraction puzzles, and sink and float were the most popular ones.

We worked with our fraction puzzle in the math area. We saw what whole , half , and fourth look like. We discovered that two halves, and four fourths make a whole. The children enjoyed the lesson and are excited to work with our other fraction lesson.

The children worked on making star shape ornaments to on the Christmas tree in The Great Hall(Treebeards). Ms. Kari Ann invited us to help decorate the tree, which we will do this afternoon.
