The children were excited to work with our new mystery bag lesson in the sensorial area. The children used their stereognostic sense(our ability to identify objects based on touch without seeing them) to identify new spring objects like a chick, bunny, butterfly, etc.

The children enjoyed visiting the big cathedral this morning for chapel. Thanks to everyone who attended. We have handouts about the presentation that will be on your child’s cubby.

Our annual Spring Hat Parade is tomorrow at 9:30 a.m.

Take a look at the cool art project we worked on today. The children used cotton balls as paintbrushes to “tie dye” a bunny silhouette.

The children are excited for our visit to the big cathedral during chapel tomorrow. Parents are invited to attend a special presentation of The Children’s Way of the Cross. Chapel will begin at 11:00a.m.

The children were excited to share all the fun activities they did this weekend like going to the park, playing outside, and playing with water tables and waterslides.

This morning we worked with the clothes pin lesson in the practical life area. The children used their pincer fingers to hang decorated eggs on the clothes line.

Our class received a special surprise today.

We won an award from the Houston LiveStock Show and Rodeo! The children were very excited to receive the award.

The children did a great job on this afternoon’s fire drill and were excited to see a real fire truck and fire fighters. The whole school did a great job getting out safely!
