Welcome Back!

We kicked this week off with some patriotic artwork. The children created fireworks out of toilet paper rolls and paint. We created the firework shape by cutting the rolls into strips so that when the children pressed down it would create a firework silhouette. Creating these fireworks not only engaged the children’s creative sides but also encouraged them to use their fine motor skills (holding the roll) and gross motor skills (the up and down motion). We would like to give our new friend Harvey a warm welcome to Movement I! We are excited to have you join our MI family.

Good Afternoon!

We would like to wish a bittersweet farewell to our friends Leigh and Anna who have transitioned to Movement II. We will miss them but we are excited for all of their new learning opportunities.

Today’s splash day was extra special – we filled some of our water tables with bubbles! The kids really enjoyed making a splash!
