Our last splash day was a success! We had the best time splashing each other, not wanting our time to end. Our non-splashers were making different objects with their construction pieces.
We’re also saying our goodbyes or our see you later to our friend Felix. Today is his last day and we would like to wish him the very best in his new school. Have lots of fun and learning time. We will miss you here at Cathedral House.
The children have enjoyed reading books, playing games and doing art activities that pertain to our summer theme, Way down deep, in the deep, deep sea. Today we made a Great White Shark and started excavating for sharks’ teeth. Ask your child to name their favorite shark.
Please help us wish Olivia a smooth transition into 1st grade. Thank you for spending the summer with us. We will miss you.
Tomorrow is our last splash day. Please remember a towel, dry clothes and a plastic bag to place wet clothes in.
We always enjoy participating with the songs Ms. Kari Ann plays and sings for us. Have you heard thes great songs at home? Todays story was from, the Jesus Storybook Bibl. It is called the Good Shepard. Ask your child to retell it to you. This was also our last chapel for the summer. We will begin chapel again during the month of September.
Tomorrow is Jumpbunch. This class begins at 10:30.
Adelaide and her Mother showed their appreciation to Kindergarten by donating a tub of Perler beads. We appreciate their generosity of this much-loved activity.
Today we reviewed the concept of, in and on. Not only does this lesson teach position words. It helps expand reading skills too.

Today was splash day! We had to wait a bit for the rain to stop but then we began to play with the water. Our two non-splashers were having some fun with the tri-cycles.
Also, we’re saying goodbye to one of our friends today. Ava, we hope you have the best time at your new school and in everything that you chose to do. Thank you for sharing the special snack with us and for sharing all your love too.
