Happy Friday!!

Today the children had lots of fun celebrating Cinco De Mayo. They tasted Mexican breads, tried the Mexican Hat dance and took a turn at hitting the Piñata. Have a good weekend!

Hello Everyone!

This month as we will be highlighting the neighboring country of Mexico as we explore and expand the children’s knowledge of our world. Today during circle we introduced the country of Mexico and discussed the colors of their flag and their national language “Spanish.” In the video we sang a school favorite “Who’s That Underneath The Hat” and learned a new Spanish word “Sombero!”

Today we presented lessons that focused on concepts such as large, medium and small as well as classification. We would also like to send a shout out to Oliver and Wyatt who turn three today!! Happy Birthday Boys!!

Hi There!

How was your weekend? This morning we had two new friends visiting from Toddler 1, Auden Butkus and Elliot Patton. Both children did very well and we hope that all transitions will flow smoothly this week. Today we also had our monthly Fire drill. All the children did a great job exiting the building quickly and safely. Two Thumbs up!

This morning we read “The Earth Book” and discussed the importance of taking care of our earth in many different ways, such as recycling, carpooling, waste, saving energy by turning of lights and more.
