Hello,
This morning the children had a concrete lesson about the fruit skins we eat, and the fruit skins we peel. The children were excited to share that they peeled their bananas at home, and that mommy did not peel their strawberries. After our discussion the children got to sample a bit of fruit from each category and tell us which one they preferred.

Happy Wednesday Everyone!
We hope your week has been going well thus far. This morning the children got together and spent time working on a small group project. Puzzles are a great way to build cognitive skills, problem solving, fine motor, eye hand coordination and social skills. Because it is always fun to work with our friends!

Hi!
This morning we continued our discussion about gardens….vegetable gardens!! The children found out that there are leafy vegetables and root vegetables. They recognized familiar vegetables such as carrots, potatoes, and broccoli. And learned new veggies such as cabbage, zucchini, lettuce and squash. In Math the children worked on numeral recognition and quantity concepts, with a fun fruit and vegetables lesson.
