The children were busy, busy, busy as they worked on Math, Sensorial and Practical Life concepts. Good job friends!!

Hi Everyone!!

This morning the children were introduced to the era of the dinosaurs. We read the book “Dinosaur Roar” and discussed some of the dinosaurs we might learn about along the way, and worked on a simple dinosaur project. We would also like to welcome Evelyn Regan and Charlotte Mullet to our class. We are so excited to have them be a part of our Toddler Two family.

Today we celebrated with and said farewell to our friend Milla Chernyshev. Milla will be on vacation during the summer months and will be starting a new adventure at her new school in the fall. We will miss her and her sweet parents very much.

Rain, rain go away!! Was the children’s song of choice today, as they watched the rain gently fall outside our classroom window. During circle time the children were introduced to the concept of “Walking On The Line.” This Practical Life lesson focuses on teaching the child control of his body, through conscious co-ordination of movement as well as developing a sense of balance.

What’s more fun than Friday??? Having a game of Twister of course! This game focuses on balance, co-ordination, color recognition and the concept of left and right. See you next week.
