This morning the transitioning children enjoyed their time upstairs. They were able to nap and have afternoon playtime with us. Everyone is doing a fantastic job of transitioning into Kindergarten.

Tomorrow is Jumpbunch class. The Kindergarten children go at 10:30. Tennis shoes are the safest shoes for this class.

Chapel begins next week. The Kindergarten children will attend chapel at 10:30 on Wednesday’s. Please make sure they have an updated permission form filled out on whether they will be attending chapel or not. If you need a new form, please stop by the front desk for one.

Happy Birthday Houston! This morning we learned that the city of Houston is 180 years old. We enjoyed making our city pictures festive with the glitter.

This morning was our soccer demo. Coach Fransisco will be our coach this upcoming semester. If you are interested in signing your child up for soccer shots please stop by the front desk for more information.

Welcome to Kindergarten! Transition from Primary 2 to Kindergarten went smoothly. We enjoyed music class together, choosing cubbies, eating lunch together and experiencing a fire drill together.

Soccer shots begins next week. If your child will be participating in this class, you may register them on line.

This morning we enjoyed getting to help plant a Water Oak tree in our playground area with Mr. Greg and Primary 2.

This morning the children enjoyed making personalized keychains and glitter bracelets. The bracelets were a simple craft that brought a lot of excitiement. They are also made from water bottles. They will stay at school over night to dry. Be on the look-out for them tomorrow.

With our numbers being rather low this week the Kindergarten children have been playing outside, eating lunch and napping with the Primary 2 children. This has been a fun way to help both classes with a smoother transition next week.
