Today we had our last soccer shots session. But not too worry there will be another. It was nice to see the parents who were able to get away from work to watch their children play. At the end of class Coach Brendan And Coach Francisco passed out certificates and medals for the hard work and participation.
Our Week
This week we found ourselves happily making our mother’s day gifts and it was fun to see how excited the class was to present their gifts of organic body scrub to their mommies.
Cinco de Mayo was Super fun! We had a blast trying to break the minion piñata and we got Tons of candy! And at lunch we stuffed ourselves with cheese quesadillas.
Jellybean structure & grass cups
Yesterday the class had fun with Ms. Denise using jellybeans and toothpicks to create one and two dimensional structures.
Today we planted Bermuda grass seeds which were sooo tiny into plastic cups. We can not wait for our seeds to sprout so you can see
Our fun planters!
Germination & Earth Day
This week we were focused on the Earth and ways to keep it clean and healthy. We read Michael Recycle by Ellie Bethel. We also look through our class and found the recycle symbol on some of the things in our class. Ms. Denise made earth day cupcakes for both Primary classes. And in the afternoon we are having dirt & worms (crushed oreos and gummy worms).
Along with our earth study we had a lesson on botany, the parts of the flower. we learned what the word germination means-the growing of the seeds. We observed tiny carrot seeds and planted them in our root planter. We are keeping our fingers crossed and hope that our seeds will sprout!
