Today we introduced the game Candy Land to some of our friends. They really enjoyed playing. We’re hoping to teach them sportsmanship and basic game rules.
Today we passed out our class ornaments to our parents, made Grinch snacks, reindeer food-that we can actually eat and rolled a surprise ball to find little favors. The surprise ball was made by William’s mother which she shared is an old family tradition.
In music class this week Mr. Jason brought in a ukulele to share with the class. Each student had an opportunity to strum the instrument. But our friend Sam serenaded the class singing “Jingle Bells.” Also, Mr. Jason brought his pal Hand-a-Claus to help sing some more Christmas songs.
We have had a busy week! We’ve been practicing our moves for the holiday program, working on a few class projects and we wished Ms. Mandolyn well on her move back to Arizona.
Today we had the pleasure of having Mrs. Claus’ read our class a story.
