Arts Alive was fun and exciting as always. Matthew’s grandmother and aunt joined in the fun. The Winter Olympics was the theme. The babies dressed up in American flag bandanas, pretended to ice skate, and at the finale everyone was awarded with gold medals. We can hardly wait until the next Arts Alive. Thanks Wendy.
Love Notes
Sensory Hearts
Our babies are actively engaged in making hearts . This sensory activity included touching and feeling sticky contact paper, yarn, and crepe paper. Most of all the babies enjoyed tasting and pouring the materials out of the basket. Check out the finished project on the window.
Love Notes
It’s that time of year again. Please write your little sweetheart a love note or as many as you would like. During, circle time we will read the love notes to our babies. We will provide all of the materials. Please feel free to design your very own love note. Also, brothers, sisters, grandmothers, grandfathers, aunts, and uncles can join in the fun. Thank you so very much for your cooperation and participation.
Tearing Paper
The infants are developing and enhancing many skills such as, fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination by tearing paper from a magazine. Some of the infants were more interested in tasting the paper than tearing it. We also had Arts Alive fun today. Dance in your pants was the theme. There were lots of musical instruments for the infants to explore. Dancing and bubbles are always the best. Don’t forget about Parent Appreciation tomorrow night. Hope to see everyone.
