Did you know that every letter in the alphabet has a name and sound?
On circle we worked with the alphabet flash cards and with our alphabet object matching lesson in our language area. We laid out alphabet cards in order and matched objects to the sound and letter they begin with.
Reminder: Scholastic book orders are due this Friday. Please make out checks to: Scholastic Book Clubs

This morning during soccer shots the children had a fun time playing. Their coordination has improved greatly. Many children are able to do several soccer moves with ease now, such as pull back, popcorn, control, etc. Ask your child to show you some soccer moves.
This Friday is Moms and Muffins. Children who are here before 8:00 may come upstairs to celebrate their Mom’s.
Tomorrow is chapel.

Today we worked with our continent map. We reviewed what the blue parts of our Earth are called, oceans and that the brown parts are called continents. We located the continent we live on, North America and discovered that there are three countries on our continent. The children enjoyed seeing different pictures of maps that showed the three countries. Do you know the names of the three countries? We learned that Canada is located on the top , the United States is in the middle, and Mexico is at the bottom of our continent.
