Today was our last day of VBS. Today we learned about Gandhi and the change he made for India. We also learned the sign for courage. Ask your child to show you their sign language they have learned this week.
They children tried on clothes from India.
They made an instrument called a Tubula. It will be coming home with your child today. I’m sure they will be excited to show you it.
The children also finished up cutting out patterns from the donated jeans to make shoes out of them. These patterns will be sent to Uganda and their a seamstress will sew them together so children can have shoes to wear.

This morning in VBS the children learned about Jamaica and the winter Olympics. . They played fun games like Bob sled races, had snowball fights and even went ice skating. The children filled snack packages for other children who may not have much food in their pantry to eat. They also added a special card that they personalized to go in each package. Tomorrow will be the last day of VBS.
