Here Sloane is strengthening her fine motor skills with a new activity, kernel tweezing and in the background, William is exploring in our fall sensory box.
Music with Tiny
Well, Hello Mr. Jason, Hello ………..
It’s so good to have you back with us. YAY!!!
MUSIC is the way to begin the week. Well, friends Mr. Jason played his guitar and
We sang; “you gotta sing when the spirit says sing!” Hmmm interesting?
So we sang and danced. We recapped Halloween by discussing “Trick or Treat”
with our friend Tiny the dinosaur. Tiny says he collected 220 pieces of candy and ate it all
on Halloween night and barfed all over!!!! YUCK! Awful, simply awful and disgusting!
What a silly dinosaur! We also re-read the book “Go away big green monster!”
We’ve learned it so as it’s being read we are able to chorus along.
As you will note in our pictures we were practicing with our Rhythm Sticks. Sooooo fun!
Mr. Jason told us how to hold them and how to lay them on the floor when they’re not being
played; as to keep ourselves and our friends safe. We looked kind of professional, like a band.
So goes another day with Mr. Jason. Our week will proceed smoother now that we’ve had our
Music, Movement, and Merriment dosage.
Until next time. Thanks for tuning in!

Welcome back, we hope everyone enjoyed their weekend.
Did you know that we are choosing a new President tomorrow? On circle we read the book “What Is A President” and learned that a President is someone who is a leader, helper, kind, problem solver, a teacher, and someone who makes good choices for everyone. We asked the children if they knew the name of the current President, the majority of the class knew the President is Barak Obama. We talked about choosing a new President tomorrow and the names of the two candidates.
Music class was lots of fun singing , dancing and playing an instrument! Mr. Jason brought rhythm sticks for us to play as well as brining his friend Tiny the Dinosaur to visit.

Did you know a leaf has a job?
We learned that a leaf makes food for the tree called chlorophyll, which gives the leaf its green color. We also worked on a Fall Leaves art project. The children were excited to use q-tips to paint the leaves. Take a look at their art work displayed in the classroom.
The children were excited to discover that we have a donation for our food drive!
