This morning the children worked with patterning skills. They are learning that patterns have names such as AB, ABB, ABC, etc. When working with your child at home on patterning please include the name of it. This skill will greatly benefit them in the future.
This morning was our last Soccer Shots for the semester. The new semester begins Jan. 9, 2017.
Tomorrow is Yoga and Chapel. Yoga begins at 9:00.
Will your child be out any days during the week of Thanksgiving? If so, please inform us of the days they will be out.

Welcome back, we hope everyone had a great weekend.
We worked with the table setting lesson in our practical life area. We practiced the placement of dishes and silverware and during lunch the children practiced remembering to use their spoons while eating.
Do you know what harmony is? Mr. Jason told us harmony is when a combination of different notes are played or sung at the same time to make a nice sound. He brought in bells to help us create our own harmony.

Hello Friends,
It’s Musical Monday and another birthday to celebrate!
Happy Birthday to Arah, and all of our November Birthdays.
We still have a couple more. It is the time of year for celebrations.
Today Music was wonderful as usual! We sang about or favorite dish (PIZZA), in both
English and French. We had a little help from our old pal Jacque the skunk. By the way,
He doesn’t seem too “stinky” since he washes his hair (it’s beautiful by the way),
in strawberry shampoo, and chews on mint leaves all day. So he must be an exceptional
Skunk. He helped us sing “I AM A PIZZA!” Then he sang ‘Freres Jacques” for us. It’s a song
about Brother John sleeping. That’s his favorite song. Then Mr. Jason taught us to play the bells.
We took turns playing a version of the scale Mr. Jason played for us. That was pretty cool!
We also danced to Jazz while Mr. Jason played the flute. It was another amazing day in music!!!
