On circle we read two books: The Crayon Box that Talked about crayons that did not like each other until they work together to draw a beautiful drawing and Martin Luther King Jr. and learned about Dr. King’s dream of everyone being kind to each other.
We had a fun time playing flying disk in Jumpbunch class. Coach Adrienne brought foam disk for the children to practice throwing and rolling.

Our lesson this morning is called the Subtraction Stripboard. This lesson helps reinforce subtraction and the children can develop a concrete understanding of what subtraction is and looks like. When working with your child at home on subtraction encourage them to read the problem before answering it and after answering it.
During Jumpbunch class the children had a fun time practicing their coordination skills by throwing a disk for another person to catch.
