Sherri Slomchinski
Class Representative
Sherri has worked at CHES for 13 years. She has one son. She has her CDA and National Center for Montessori Education certificates, many educational workshop hours, and is a member of the International Montessori Society. Her favorite thing about working with children is getting to see their joy when they master a task they have been working on for a while. The family atmosphere and commitment to the children is what she likes most about Cathedral House.
Carmen Solis
Carmen began working at CHES in September 2017. She was born in Houston, TX. She has four dogs which she likes to walk in the park on her days off. She also enjoys reading, listening to music, and going to different restaurants to try new foods. Her favorite children’s books are The Rainbow Fish and Where the Wild Things Are. She would love to visit Greece some day. She enjoys eating Mexican and Chinese food. She also likes shopping at Agaci, Forever 21, and Sephora.
